Full time Procedure Room Technician - works mainly in procedure room, occasionally works in reprocessing department Monday - Friday 6:
30am-3:
00pm and occasional Saturdays APPLICANTS:
Surgical Technician, Central Processing Technician, Endoscopy Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Nursing Assistants are encouraged to apply.
This position is responsible for assisting during endoscopic procedures and occasionally cleaning and reprocessing endoscopes.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED - CPR Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to follow all protocols and instructions carefully and consistently - Good eye to hand coordination - A sound understanding of the English language and ability to clearly communicate within a multidisciplinary arena - Display a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness to co-workers - Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with physicians and all medical professionals - Ability to maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity policy WORKING CONDITIONS:
The job involves a large amount of time spent walking, standing, and routine lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
